A variety of our kits includes 3 DVD's and our 60 page booklet, that will teach you the basics of how to apply permanent makeup. You will also see there is life like practice material included in the kit. Once you have viewed the DVD's and read the 60 page booklet. We suggest you call us and have practice material on hand. The conversation will probably take about an hour. So please allow time for this phone call. We will answer all your questions and explain many things to you about the permanent makeup and the permanent makeup business. We will suggest that you review the DVD's after talking with us. We will want you to work on the life like practice material at that time. Many people will be able to learn to do this on they're own. But if you do not feel comfortable doing it on your own we can suggest a trainer in your area. The company receives no money for this suggestion it is a courtesy only. We have people around the country that will train, their fees may vary. We will suggest that you do at least a one day hands on training. The state you are located in may determine how long you need to attend your training. If you can bring your own model with you to class is ideal. You be able to see first hand how the permanent makeup heals in the skin. This is a very important part of the learning process. You will want the trainer to let you do a liner in the morning and a brow in the afternoon. It is also very important that you do most of the work and that she stays right beside you through out the process. We do not suggest you do lip training until you have done several liner and brow procedures and have a lot of confidence. Lips can be difficult.
If you decide to do lips you will need to have an additional and they will charge you for a more days. Please keep in mind when you contact one of our suggested trainers, it is between you and her and not EZ Permanent Makeup. We receives NO money from that class experience.
We do know the people we suggest are highly skilled. You might check the www.PermanentMakeupSociety.com for trainers in your area.
This society is sponsored by EZ Permanent Makeup.
Please keep in mind, if you purchase our Ultimate Learning Kit and can learn through the DVD's and 60 page booklet and lots of conversations with us. You will only have $350.00 investment. If you decide you cannot learn this on your own, and want to go to a trainer, this will cost you more.
Having studied before attending your hands on class will only help you to understand more thoroughly and you will learn faster. It is a win win situation.
This DVD course is not for everybody, but quite a few incividuals have had very good results with this program. It is especially good for those people that learn well on their own, and at their speed. This is for those who want to become a certified permanent makeup artist. It is good for individuals who have done permanent makeup in other countries and now live in America and want to be certified. One of the best technicians I have ever seen, had no prior training and used this course to get certified and her work is outstanding.
DVD training allows you the freedom to train at you own speed and on your own time. As many times as you want. If traveling to a destination for school is not a available to you, this is a great alternative. Each DVD demonstrates the full procedure from beginning to the finished product. Learn and practice the manual technique demonstrated. Read the 60 page instructional book. Finally take the test provided when you feel confident.
CERTIFICATION GUIDELINES
1) "Before and After" photos of different procedures. The photos have to be close up so we can see the quality of the work.
2) Test that you must complete. It is a teaching test and if you do not know the answers please contact us and he will explain the answers to you. We think it is important you know and understand the answers. The test is designed to teach you about permanent makeup, not just to test your on material information.
Many Trainers and Schools use our DVD's and 60 page book as part of their own training curriculum. When the students have material to study before attending the hands on class they are more knowledgeable and understand the process making it easier on the teacher and the person learning. DVD's also allow the students to watch again and again to keep refreshed in what they have just learned. It is really disappointing to return home after class and forget some of the things you have learned. With the DVD's you can watch and refresh to help you retain all your newly learned trade.
WHEN LOOKING FOR A SCHOOL OR TRAINER, here are some tips to consider
1) Does the trainer /school have a written curriculum so you can see exactly what you will be learning and when. (I don't know how many people I have talked with that when they attended their class the trainer didn't know what they were going to do next, spent most of the time just visiting with the student instead of teaching)
2) Does the trainer/school charge you for a non refundable deposit with no guarantee that you will even get the class. (I have spoken to people that put up a deposit and the trainer cancels and provides no refund and no new reschedule!)
3) If any prepayment is required, it be for a home study packet that is mailed to you for to review before attending class? (This prepayment should only be in the amount to pay for the packet & mailing).
4) Plenty of models to work on (this is a changing business and people's schedules can also change directions, but the school is responsible to always have live models for the students. We always had a list of at least 50 people we could call in at any given time. Without the models the students don't get the training they are paying for.)
5) Try to attend a one on one class not a group class unless there is one trainer per student. (For anyone to fully comprehend the new information this should be done with one trainer sitting right beside the student and the model watching and instructing the student with their every move. The end result will be better retention of the learning process for the student and the model will feel at ease with knowing an experience technician is carefully watching every move. which also leads to more models signing up because they know the work will be great)
6) Word of mouth is the best recommendation for choosing a school/trainer (The more positive classes a trainer has, the more sharing the students and models attending will do. With great course outcome and happy students and models, the more people will share their positive experience generating more students, models and customers.)
7) Does the trainer/school provide you with study paperwork, books, DVDs and photos and your certificate of completion for you to take home with you. (providing training material is essential to you learning so you will be able to keep your mind refreshed with what you had just learned.)
8) Are you able to have your supplies when you get home to start your new career. (it is always good to purchase a kit before you attend class so you can let your teacher show you what all your items are and how to use them)
9) Are you able to stay in contact with your trainer/school for on going advice. Many people call us because they can't get in touch with where they took their training. We will be happy to answer your questions. In the beginning you will want and need all the support you can get.
10) Will the trainer/school let you talk with others that have taken the course? Do they feel confidant with their knowledge after completing the course? (The trainer/school should be proud of the students they have taught and should be happy to let you speak to any of them.)
